Unless relieved or waived, the personal representative files and mails the inventory within six months after qualification under O.C.G.A. § 53-7-30, with waivers addressed in O.C.G.A. § 53-7-32. Pay valid claims, manage or sell property only with authority, and keep the estate settlement organized.
- Close the estate. When administration is complete, use the appropriate Georgia form, often GPCSF 33 for discharge, and file any final returns, receipts or consents the Probate Court requires.
