If real property, personal property or mineral interests must be sold through the probate case, Oklahoma has a separate $43.00 charge for a sale or lease proceeding under 28 O.S. § 152(A)(5), in the fee schedule amended effective November 1, 2025.
- File the final account or request for distribution, give notice of the final hearing, attend the hearing and obtain the decree of distribution and discharge.
- If the decree affects Grady County land, record a certified copy with the Grady County Clerk after the district court enters it. If land is in another Oklahoma county, record in that county as well under 58 O.S. § 711.
