- Give required notices. In an informal administration, the probate registrar handles the administrative file under Wis. Stat. ch. 865. In a formal administration, the court sets hearings and orders notice. The claim deadline is a date set by order at not less than three and not more than four months from the date of that order (Wis. Stat. § 859.01).
